Scholarship Awarded to Nancy Lupo of Aurora
This year over fifty fully qualified applicants competed for our Angeline Gale Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was awarded to Nancy Lupo of Aurora, Illinois. Ms. Lupo is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Sciences at National Louis University where she maintains a 4.0 GPA. The $4,000 scholarship will help pay educational expenses for the last term of her undergraduate program. She plans to use her degree to advance her career in library science.

AAUW is encouraging STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programming to encourage girls and women to develop and pursue interests in these areas.  Pati Sievert, NIU STEM Outreach Coordinator, will answer the STEM why, what and how questions.
