AAUW Naperville Used Book Collection Dates.
District 203 Admin. Building, 203 W. Hillside- on-going through June 6th, M-F, 9am - 3 pm, smaller quantities only and Sat. June 7, 10 am – 2 pm: any quantity

U-Store-It, 12408 Industrial Dr., 815-254-9099, East of Rt. 59, between 119th and 127th St., on-going through June 12th during regular hours, any quantity accepted

Anderson’s Book Store, 123 W. Jefferson, May 18 – May 31,  store hours, maximum one bag donation (due to storage issues)

Neuqua Valley High School, 2360 95th St., Door 23: south side

Sat. June 14, 10 am – 2 pm, any quantity accepted.

Sale: Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 10 AM - 8 PM  (Discount to all school personnel with ID.)

Closeout: Saturday, June 21, 9 AM - Noon (Bag day sale, half price or $6/bag - except collectors' corner items)

This major fundraiser supports our yearly contribution to the AAUW Education Foundation, the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund, plus our annual $3000 Angeline Gale Memorial Scholarship.

As always, we collect hardcover and paperback books, children’s books, fiction and non-fiction, CDs and DVDs.  We do not accept Reader's Digest condensed books, textbooks, encyclopedias or magazines. For more information, call Becky Glimco at (630)922-9448 or e-mail beckyglimco@aol.com

bookworm Book Sale History  The first Naperville AAUW Book Sale (which benefited the Coretta Scott King Educational Foundation) was held on October 12, 1969 at the Naperville Women's Club building from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.The sale included donated books and art objects as well as art objects that were sold on consignment with AAUW taking a 10% commission.  All members were asked to donate 1 book and 1 hour of time.  For more history of our chapter, see our Branch History.
