Founded in 1959, the Lombard Area Branch of AAUW has long served the communities of Lombard, Villa Park, and surrounding areas.
Our members are committed to helping women and girls in their pursuit of higher education by providing scholarships to area women. AAUW offers you an opportunity: to meet like-minded people in our community - to further individual growth - to advance the status of women - to network. We are part of 100,000 members in the United States.
One of the world's largest sources of funding for graduate women, AAUW is providing more than $4.3 million in funding for more than 278 fellowships and grants to outstanding women and nonprofit organizations in the 2012-13 academic year.
