The AAUW
- Elmhurst Branch is
dedicated to diversity and the AAUW mission of promoting equity for all
women and girls, life-long education and self-development over their
life span and positive societal change.
We meet the
second Wednesday of each month from September through May. For
the location and time of meetings, please check the Meeting/Program
schedule as they may vary.
Visitors and
prospective members are welcome to all of our meetings. If you
are interested in joining our branch, please come to one of our
meetings and ask for a membership application.

Elmhurst
Branch Philanthropic Activities
An annual
contribution to the AAUW Educational Foundation. Annual
scholarships to high school senior women from York Community High School and an annual
scholarship for a returning adult scholar. Funds for these
activities are raised by our annual book sale.
Elmhurst
Branch Activities
General meetings
with stimulating programs are held on the second Wednesday of the month
from September through May. Programs begin at 7:30 p.m. and are usually
held at the Elmhurst Public Library.
Our members are actively involved throughout the summer in
preparation for the annual used book sale.
Members can also join study groups that explore various
issues or ideas. These currently include:
