Our Keynote Speaker was Dorothy Kennett. In stories and pictures, Dorothy
gave a wonderful program about her
experiences establishing a children's library at the God's Golden Acre children's foster care facility in South Africa.
The
10th Annual International Women's Day Breakfast was well attended--as you can
see by Sandy Little
helping
at Registration. There were over 60 people in attendance. We hope
you can tell by these pictures that

everyone had a great time. On the far right, last year's Keynote Speaker
Aisha Ibrahim joins us again this year.
At the end of the day event, the lovely yellow daffodil center pieces were given
as door prizes to eight lucky people

in the door prize drawing run by Evelyn Young. Thanks everyone at AAUW and Soroptimists
for a great event!

March 5, 2005 International Women's Day Breakfast (from 9:00 – 11:00am) at Eastland Suites.
The
BN-AAUW Branch and the local Soroptimists International Chapter co-sponsored
the event. Our Keynote Speaker was Ms. Aisha Fofana Ibrahim -- an Illinois
State University doctoral graduate student in the English Department.
