Get your voice heard in Springfield!
Meet face-to-face with your legislators to discuss issues important to AAUW. Our lobbyists will identify bills to lobby, then provide training along with fact sheets to give your legislators. (If you've already received AAUW training for lobbying , contact Diane to register for only the lobbying portion.)
Please e-mail Diane the name of prospective attendees, the name of your elected legislator, as well as names of legislators with whom you have a special relationship.

The American Association of University Women, the oldest women's organization in the United States, was founded in 1881, and promotes equity for all women and girls, life-long education, and positive societal change.
Education as the Gateway to Women's Economic Security
This theme represents a shared commitment by the Association and the Educational Foundation to build a coordinated, collaborative, and contemporary portfolio of AAUW programs that will serve the mission of AAUW, support and engage members and prospective members, and, in the process, move the organization forward in a focused and strategic manner.

Membership Criteria
Any graduate with an associate or equivalent degree or higher may become a member of AAUW.
